School Loop for Parents

At the Elementary School level, grades TK through 6, School Loop provides websites for all school sites, teachers and staff. Teachers may publish websites and use the School Loop communication tools to communicate with their students. Students have access to their School Loop portal where they may communicate with their teacher (if teachers choose to use these tools for instruction), discuss projects with classmates, and store their work in their School Loop locker. At this initial implementation phase, parents do not register for portal access for students at the elementary level, and do not participate in LoopMail. Teacher-to-parent email is managed through the district student information system.

At the Secondary School level, grades 7 through 12, School Loop not only provides websites for all school sites, teachers and staff and the same robust portal system for students described above, it also serves as the electronic gradebook for secondary teachers. Parents who register for School Loop accounts receive daily email updates from their students schools and teachers. For more information, visit the Parents' Page in these support pages. Additionally, School Loop provides visibility and communication to members of a student’s educational team, including teachers, administrators, parent/guardians, counselors, staff members, as well as after school support professionals. Information regarding student progress is available to the team at any time from any device with an Internet connection.
