Supporting Foundations

Listed organizations identify and support various educational efforts in Davis.

Consider supporting your schools through these organizations or directly to programs benefiting our children with your time or tax-deductible financial contribution.  Visit your schools, speak with your children's teachers, and visit these organizations' websites for details on how you can contribute to the vitality of our schools!


Blue and White Foundation

Organized around raising funds for the modernization of DSHS stadium and field, the BWF sustains communications between DSHS alumni and the district for the purpose of promoting and recognizing all forms of excellence.


Davis Bridge Educational Foundation

Their Mission Statement: "The Davis Bridge Educational Foundation strives to make college and academic success a realistic option and goal for all Davis students, regardless of income, race or ethnicity."  Additionally, "Davis Bridge is dedicated to improving the academic achievement of low-income Davis students, particularly Latina/o from Spanish-speaking households in grades K-12.  Davis Bridge provides tutoring, computer access, school supplies, and after-school snacks at four after-school homework clubs."

Davis Farm to School Connection

Their Mission Statement: "The mission of the Davis Farm to School Connection is to create an educational and cultural environment in our schools that connects food choices with personal health, community, farms, and land."


Davis School Arts Foundation

DSAF was organized in 1978 following passage of California Proposition 13 to sustain funding of the visual and performing arts in DJUSD "to keep the arts available to all students in our public schools."


Davis Schools Foundation

Their Mission Statement: "The Davis Schools Foundation's mission is to support educational excellence in Davis public schools by raising funds from the community for district-wide programs or that promote equitable opportunities between schools."   DSF identifies and provides supplemental funding for selected district programs.
