Important Dates in the District's Budget Process

• By July 1: Adopted budget submitted to Yolo County Office of Education
• Around December 15: First Interim Budget Report
• Around March 15: Second Interim Budget Report, first notice of possible lay-off (certificated staff)
• Around June 30:  Estimated Actuals
• Around September 15: Unaudited Actuals
  

Other Important Dates:

• January: Governor's proposal for the State Budget for the coming fiscal year and any mid-year adjustment to the Current Year State Budget
  
• May 15: May State Budget Revision, final notice of lay-off of certificated staff.
