Energy Management

Message from the Energy Manager

We are committed to saving energy and being good stewards of these resources.  This saves costs which can be focused on our students while providing the best learning environment possible.

Some important updates and reminders:

  • electricity rates are structures so that they triple between the hours of noon and 6pm - consequently anything we can do to cut down on usage during those times helps tremendously (reduce lighting, turn off and unplug unused equipment, make sure doors stay closed)
  • water rates for the City of Davis are on the rise - our first bills are showing twice the cost for a third less water - Yikes!!! - please be sure to report any leaks or broken sprinklers overwatering you may see

Thank you again for all you do each and every day!  It takes the commitment of every one of us to make a difference.
