Department Mission Statement
In partnership with DJUSD and the Davis community, the Instructional Technology Services (ITS) department provides for the District’s technological operations and instructional technology implementations in order to promote students’ intellectual, social, and career skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in our dynamic society.
In pursuit of this mission, the ITS department is committed to supporting 21st Century learning within our District by:
- Supplying and maintaining a reliable and secure technology infrastructure
- Maintaining existing equipment and software and upgrading to current standards or versions whenever financially possible
- Communicating the status of ongoing projects and work orders
- Providing timely support for instructional and administrative computing needs
- Responding appropriately and effectively to users at different skill levels
- Being proactive in discovering the changing needs and expectations of our school community
- Offering technical expertise on devices and tools for management and learning
- Facilitating communication between our schools and community via District and school websites
