NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SOLAR POWER PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that the Davis Joint Unified School District seeks proposals from qualified firms to design, fabricate, deliver, install, operate, and maintain a solar photovoltaic generating system mounted on the school sites owned by the District under a Power Purchase Agreement in Davis, California. Sealed proposals will be received at the Davis Joint Unified School District Operations Center at 1919 5th Street, Davis, CA 95616, until 2:00 pm on Tuesday March 23, 2010. Late proposals will not be accepted.
The project consists of the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and ownership of grid-connected PV systems at three school sites. The Request for Proposals (RFP) is available at LPA, Inc., 1548 Eureka Road, Suite 101, Roseville, CA 95661, (916) 772-4300, attention Steve Newsom.
Two pre-proposal walks will be held at 1:00pm on March 9, 2010 and 1:00pm on March 11, 2010 at the Davis Joint Unified School District Operations Center at 1919 Fifth Street, Davis, CA 95616. Attendance at one of these walks is mandatory.
Proposers shall provide their pricing based on the terms and conditions of the Power Purchase Agreement, included in the RFP. No proposal will be considered unless it is made on the form provided by the Architect.
Proposal shall not expire for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time set for receipt of proposals.
