American Association of School Counselors (ASCA)

All DJUSD School Counselors provide students with critical supports focused towards school success. As professional educators with a mental heath perspective, DJUSD School Counselors understand and respond to the challenges presented by today’s diverse student population. School counselors do not work in isolation; rather they are integral to the total education program. The American School Counselor Association National Standards in the academic, career, and personal/social domains are the foundation for this work.
