DJUSD Updated Outdoor Masking Guidance

Image of students playing outsideOn February 9, 2022, Yolo County Public Health Officer, Dr. Aimee Sisson, provided us with updated outdoor masking guidance stating that if a school has over 50% of students vaccinated, we should lift outdoor masking requirements.

After requesting that families send in their student/s vaccination cards last week, many additional vaccination cards were submitted. Here are the current student vaccination rates by school:

At the February 17, 2022 Board of Education meeting, the Board discussed the outdoor masking mandate. We will remove the outdoor mask mandate effective Tuesday, February 22, 2022 regardless of school vaccination levels.
