Yolo County Expands COVID-19 Vaccines to Educators

On February 16, Yolo County announced that the County will expand COVID-19 vaccination efforts to include all frontline workers, which includes all DJUSD employees, in Phase 1b Tier 1 of the State of California’s vaccine prioritization framework. With this expansion all DJUSD educators and staff will all be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Yolo County.

Key Information for DJUSD Employees

Vaccine Opportunities for All DJUSD Employees
Beginning the week of February 15, Yolo County is offering a limited number of appointments each week for all frontline workers, including all educators, that live or work in the county. More vaccine clinics to be announced each next week.

Additional Vaccine Opportunities for Employees Currently Working On-Campus
Yolo County is also partnering with Dignity Health to offer COVID-19 vaccines to school staff who are participating in in-person instruction beginning this week. This includes staff who are on campus full-time, part-time under a hybrid model, or are working with high-risk and special needs students using a cohort model. There will be afternoon and weekend appointments available to accommodate the schedules of those not available during the school day.
