Public Outreach Announcement for César Chávez & Patwin Solar Projects
Posted on 02/19/2025
Exciting news for the César Chávez and Patwin elementary school communities! Design planning is now underway for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels at our school. This project is a significant step in the Davis Joint Unified School District’s (DJUSD) ongoing commitment to expanding renewable energy sources and promoting sustainability.

The addition of solar panels will help reduce our school’s carbon footprint while providing long-term energy savings. This initiative aligns with DJUSD’s broader goals of incorporating green technology and educating students about the importance of renewable energy.
