Scope of Work

The DSHS Aquatic Center will be constructed adjacent to the New Gym. The project will require the removal of eight to ten classrooms and a realignment of the existing fire lane just south of the baseball field. The new classrooms to be constructed in the STEM Project will more than offset the loss of classrooms resulting from the Aquatic Center project.

The Aquatic Center design includes:

  • Location immediately east of large gym
  • 25 yard x 50 meter pool
  • 17 lanes
  • Two - 1 meter diving boards
  • Space for two regulation floating goal water polo courses
  • Changing rooms, restrooms, equipment room, deck space, spectator space

Project Status: Bidding and Approval of Contracts
