Texting for DJUSD Families

Our District uses texting primarily during emergency situations, and these text messages will always be accompanied by an email and automated phone call. We may also send additional text messages for important school information.

Follow these steps to opt in to receiving DJUSD text messages:


  • Text “Y” to 67587
  • Make sure your cell phone number is on file in the Parent Portal or with your school
  • Save 67587 in your contacts as “DJUSD Alerts”
  • Repeat these steps for each emergency contact
