Step 1: Complete Pre-Enrollment

Pre-enrollment is for students who are new to the Davis Joint Unified School District. If your child was previously enrolled in DJUSD, STOP. You may not use pre-enrollment, but must report to your neighborhood school office to register in-person.  If you do not have a current address in DAVIS- STOP.  Do not complete Pre-Enrollment.  You must complete an Interdistrict Transfer request (see link below) or wait to Pre-Enroll until you have a local address.

Pre-enrollment occurs throughout the school year when a student is going to begin attending a Davis Joint Unified School District school. Students will be enrolled in the District once, and then legal parents/guardians will receive a pin/password and complete online re-enrollment annually. This re-enrollment process will recur every year before school begins. Enrollment in DJUSD is a multi-step process. After completing Pre-Enrollment online, legal parents/guardians will print the completion document. All DJUSD Required Registration Documents are then gathered and brought to the neighborhood school office to be officially enrolled.

Students are enrolled in schools based on their home address. The DJUSD School Locator  will indicate the neighborhood school for Davis addresses. For information about transferring to a different school, please visit the Intradistrict and Interdistrict Transfer Page.
