DJUSD is proud to partner with our community to offer a breadth of quality choice programming. DJUSD offers music, international languages, elementary science, visual/performing arts, athletics, technology, and career technical education. Our Graduate Profile was designed with the intent of progressing student development in the areas of Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation, Civic and Cultural Awareness, Adaptability and Resilience, Collaboration Collaboration and Communication. In our schools, your child and your family will find a home in a positive school culture that empowers students, builds engagement and deeper connections to school. In February 2017, the DJUSD Board of Education approved the We All Belong Resolution, which provides a clear and transparent statement that DJUSD shall be a place where all students, employees and families feel welcome and safe. 

High Graduation Rates - Successful Alumni

Our graduation rate is one of the highest in the region and the State.  Each year, graduates from Davis Joint Unified are accepted to excellent schools throughout the nation, both public and private and many of our students go on to successful careers opportunities.

Davis Senior High ranked in the top 5% nationally in the 2020 U.S. News Best High Schools ranking. Equity and Excellence define our culture. Davis Joint Unified has been designated a California Exemplary District (2018) and is home to eight California Distinguished Schools as recognized by the California Department of Education. DJUSD staff and programs continue to be recognized at a national, state and regional level for innovations, initiatives and achievements.

Community and Parent Support

In Davis, there is a strong partnership shared among our students, teachers, parents and community. Since 1984, Davis voters continue to vote their values by approving school parcel taxes and bond measures to support quality education, improved learning environments and enrichment opportunities.  Partnerships with local organizations including the Davis Schools Foundation, Davis Chamber of Commerce, Davis School Arts Foundation and Davis Farm to School help support support classrooms, staff members and local involvement in our schools.  Most notably, Davis has a culture of engagement and volunteerism, with a cadre of supportive parent/guardians who make endless contributions to our District, schools and students.

Virtual Academy Available for 2023-24 School Year

DJUSD has developed a 100% online Virtual Academy through the Davis School for Independent Study.
