Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P)

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding for after school and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten (TK) though sixth grade. DJUSD, in partnership with the Davis Kids Klub (DKK), is pleased to bring this expanded childcare programming to all eight of our elementary school campuses!

In 2023-24 Davis Kids Klub will be hosting the after-school program (2:35 - 5:55 p.m. and 1:30 - 5:55 p.m. on Wednesdays). The TK/Kindergarten AM/PM “Kindercare” program will be hosted internally by DJUSD.

TK and Kindergarten students can participate in both programs (and take advantage of childcare until 5:55 p.m.). Families wishing to take advantage of “Kindercare” and after-school programs need to sign-up for each separately.

It is the intent of the ELO-P legislation that program priority be given to foster or homeless students, English learner students or students who qualify for the free/reduced meal program. DJUSD will prioritize enrollment for students meeting this criteria.
