Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD) is committed to creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for every student. To accomplish this goal, the District is engaged in efforts to create comprehensive policies, practices, professional development, and other initiatives to support students who identify as LGBTQIA, including Specific Administrative Regulations for supporting transgender students. Davis Phoenix Coalition - Offers services for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Factual, evidence-based presentations on the issues of gender, sexuality, history of organizing for equality, or other related topics are available to schools, clubs, faith communities, or other interested organizations. Yolo Rainbow Families - A peer-support group for LGBTQ+ parents and parents of LGBTQ+ children. Meets once a month. For more information, please email [email protected]

Davis Queer Teen Group - An adult-facilitated social and informational group for junior high- and high-school LGBTQ+ students and allies. This group meets twice a month. For more information, please email [email protected] and cc [email protected]

Davis Pride - A community-organized, all-ages festival and series of events during the Pride Month of June. Activities include Skate Night (June 3), Run for Equality and Music Festival (June 4), and Bike Ride for Pride (June 23).
