Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal


The District is continuing to find ways to improve communications and access to information. For DJUSD staff, this includes easy self-service tools to better keep everyone informed and up to date on personnel and payroll information.

The DJUSD Employee Self Service portal is an exciting new tool available to all DJUSD employees and will allow you to view your current leave balances (e.g., sick, personal, and vacation), pay stubs, W-2s, and demographic information.

What if my Welcome Letter provided a reference ID number that is less than 6 digits, What do I do?
Please enter leading 0's before your number so there is a total of 6 digits to submit on the employee registration portal.

When will I get access to the ESS Portal?                                                         
Employees will receive their DJUSD ESS Portal Welcome Letter emailed to their DJUSD email via InformedK12, and mailed to their home address. Twelve (12) month employees will receive their letter the week of August 9, 2021. Eleven (11) month employees will receive their letter the week of August 30, 2021. All other permanent employees will receive their welcome letter the week of September 30, 2021.

Where do I see my annual pay information?

Once signed in to your portal, navigate to the "POSITIONS" tab, and then change the drop-down to say "SALARY PLACEMENT". 

What if I lost my letter and don't know my employee reference number to register account?

All site and department administrative assistants have a Google sheet with all their staff and their employee numbers. This Google sheet is maintained by Fiscal Services and updated monthly. 

How do I update my address?

Employees can update their address with Personnel Services by completing this Address Change form.

Please allow 5-7 business days for this form to be processed and the new address to be reflected in your Portal.

How do I update other personal information that's incorrect?

Employees can update information such as emergency contact info, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses by completing the Personal Information Change Request form.

What do I need to do when I receive an Error that stats "District 7 is disabled for this user"?

When logging in make sure the District number is listed as District 2.
