If you or a family member are looking for help with mental health or substance use, Care Solace can help you quickly find treatment options matched to your needs regardless of the circumstance.

Care Solace is a complimentary and confidential service provided to students, staff, and their families by Davis Joint Unified School District. Care Solace’s team is available 24/7/365 and can support you in any language.

DJUSD families and staff may access Care Solace services to assist in finding a mental health professional in two ways: Call (888) 515-0595 to speak with someone or access online.

HMO/PPO Insurance (not Kaiser): contact Primary Care Doctor for referral to mental health

Kaiser Insurance: Call 707-624-2830 for an appointment - teletherapy currently available

Private pay: List of local providers (some may accept insurance)

How to access mental health crisis help

Read this article to understand what a mental health crisis is and what to expect when one occurs. 

If your child is in crisis, and you cannot keep them safe, call 911.

If your child is in crisis, but can be safely transported by you, immediately take them to:

  • Sutter Davis Emergency Room (or nearest emergency room)

  • Kaiser ER Vacaville – Kaiser patients can call the Psychiatry/Mental Health department 707-624-2830 - Crisis intervention available to triage over phone

Local Community Organizations

Empower Yolo – Provides 24/7 hour support to students and families impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. 530-662-1133

Yolo Cares - Center for Loss and Hope - Local support programs specifically designed to help children, teens and families cope with the death of a loved one530-758-5566

The Auburn Davis Center for DBT is primarily focused on providing therapy to young adults and teens between the ages of 12 and 35. DBT is a cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on four skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation.

Strong Families Yolo is a website created by Yolo County Children’s Alliance (YCCA) as a project of the Yolo County Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) that encourages everyone to play a part in caring for Yolo children and strengthening Yolo families.
