Student CTE Opportunities

Internship and Career Development Course:

Through weekly meetings with the Internship Specialist, all students will be coached to develop resumes, cover letters and interview skills. For those pursuing internship placements, students will be matched to unpaid internship opportunities based upon their career interests and abilities. The Internship Specialist will assist students in contacting the placement sites and setting up the internship opportunities. Successful evaluations and a post-internship reflective writing activity are also required for credit. Students in pursuit of future paid work will be given additional content where they will acquire essential job-related knowledge and skills to increase employability.
